Finger Paint!!

Alex, Barrett, Luke, Lauren, Timothy and Kira

Lauren is all girl - painting her nails

We finally had a dry day so our playgroup decided to venture outside to fingerpaint. The kids did a great job and the mommies had fun watching the mess- I mean art - be created.

Luke the muffin man

Luke was the only one up this morning so he got to "help" with the muffins. He quickly discovered that the best part comes at the end when you get to lick the spoon!

Hannah's numerous outfit changes

Miss Hannah keeps life interesting around here. She is quite the little "spitter" and can really soak her clothes...and Mom's clothes, the carpet, stairs, bedding, you name it. She pretty much wears a bib non-stop unless I'm taking her picture. :) On a typical day Hannah will wear 2 different outfits and 1 pair of jammies. Her personal best happened last Friday when I changed her shirt 5 times
! Today Hannah had 2 outfits on as you can see in the pictures. Sometimes I just let her hang out in her diaper until she's running low on spit-up. Oops! Gotta go - Hannah just erupted again!

Rainy Days in Eau Claire

Luke's first exposure to playdough consisted primarily of trying to eat it. I was feeding Hannah so I didn't witness this firsthand but assumed eating - or at least tasting - had gone on due to slobbery, wet playdough. YUM!

Well, we've survived 2 rainy days IN A ROW here at the Berge household. let me tell you, these boys NEED to be outside whenever possible. Lots of energy in a cooped up setting makes for noisy, rambunctious kiddos. So, here are a few pictures of how we've been keeping busy: dance parties, geo trax trains, playdough and playing in the rain (just a little bit to satisfy their appetite!). Not pictured activities are playing in the gym at church and building with mega blocks...oh and LOTS of Veggie Tales music (help me!)

Gettin' cuter by the minute!

Luke is a great big brother - always giving kisses and wanting to take his turn holding her

My lawn boys

Guess who wants to do EVERYTHING like Daddy???

sturgis presents

We got a package in the mail from Frampa the other day and Timothy was just thrilled. (He loves getting things in the mail) I told him who the package was from and as I pulled out the folded up shirts Timothy exclaims, "YEAH! Harley Davidson shirts!!" Well he was close. :) So, now we have a new batch of motorcycle shirts and a more "girly" one for Miss Hannah.

Getting Hannah to smile

So now we've got this smiley baby. It's so fun. We've discovered a few tricks to getting her to smile. Hannah likes to have her chin wiggled and often gives us a grin. So, here's Luke trying the trick out for himself. The photographer of these pics is none other than big brother Timothy! I think he gets his "eye" for the shots from Uncle John and Auntie Sara. :)

Hannah reaches out

Hannah loves this little activity gym. Last week she started to reach for the toys. Here she is going for her favorite - the whale. Oh- by the way, Hannah is officially on the growth charts now! She weighs 11 lbs 13 oz and is in the 15th percentile. Way to go, Big Girl!

3 Happy Kiddos

There's nothing better than big smiles from your kids!

pretty baby

Here are just a couple of cute pics of Hannah. She is really getting cuter every day...maybe I'm a little biased!

Pajama mornings

Yesterday I got some cute shots of the kids in their jammies. Luke and Timothy are great smilers so we have lots of fun with the camera!

Grandma comes to Eau Claire

We got to have some extra time with Grandma these past few days. She came on Saturday and left Wednesday. We got lots of organizing and cleaning done thanks to her...and we also managed to have some fun too! On Tuesday we went to the park for a picnic lunch and then some playing on the playground.

Nintendo!

We got to spend some time with John and Sara. They got to meet Hannah for the first time and enjoyed (I think) playing with the boys. The next generation of Berge boys is just as excited about Nintendo as their uncles and Daddy.

mmm mmm corn!

The first corn cob of the season! After watching everyone else eat their corn Luke decided he needed his own cob too. He even got some of the corn off it and into his mouth.

a day with the cousins

We got to spend Monday with Daniel and Meghan at my parent's pool. The weather didn't cooperate as much as we hoped but the kids still had a fun time playing together.
